Meditation, Mindfulness, Guided Imagery, and Relaxation Class

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS FOR EDUCATORS

Trumbull County Technical Center (TCTC) in conjunction with

Ashland University present:

Meditation Made Simple: Exploring Meditation Styles, Mindfulness,
Guided Imagery, and the Relaxation Response

In this in-depth experiential workshop, you will discover ways to cultivate a healthy, happy life of intention using the power of meditation. Learn “how to meditate” as you stop and clear your mind, breathe to become attuned with your body, listen to the to the quiet, yet unwavering voice within, and connect to what it feels like to exist from a place of total balance— in your mind, body, and spirit. Developing a meditation practice will allow you to self-soothe, live in the present moment, be with and move through all that life throws at you, and become more mindful and aware of what truly aligns with you. You will gain more confidence to self-heal, relax, and recover your natural state of being– full harmony, energy, and inner peace.
You will also explore and experience expressive, concentrative, and mindfulness meditations as well as practice “guided” walking, self-compassion, and loving kindness meditations. Come away from this workshop with a clear understanding of meditation practices, a profound experience for yourself, and new ways to meditate and empower yourself, clients, and students. Required audio CD (available first day of class or Amazon for $14.95): “Guided Mindfulness Meditations,” Michael S. Prokop, audio CD, ISBN: 0-933879-55-5.
